Alfred “Al Boogie” McGee (25) was born and raised in Chicago, IL. His passion for music stems from
a number of child hood influences such as A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, and the late Notorious B.I.G. As
an artist, Al Boogie displays a cutting edge sound and style that undeniably separates him from the
rest. His music artistically paints pictures based on his life and experiences. Al Boogie proclaims
that he is a “feel good” artist, someone that ensures a good time while listening to his music. He also
produces and writes for other artists and is Co-CEO of Sound Mind Entertainment, a production
company based out of the Southern Illinois area. Al Boogie has opened up for major acts such as Mr.
Cheeks, Lil John and the Eastside Boyz, Cee- Lo Green, and Lil Flip. When it’s all said and done, Al
